External Linking Policy

Throughout my site, and especially in my External Links section, I link to outside Web sites. I do this to encourage and facilitate exploration beyond the original content I have to offer. The nature of the World Wide Web, anyway, lies in the "Web" part of the name—it was designed to become a web of interconnected resources. So, every time someone links to an external site, he or she contributes to that ever-growing web. Now, my hope is that external content I link to benefits visitors in some way, adds meaningfully to that web; however, I make no guarantee about any external site's relevance, nor do I assume any responsibility for any external site's content. Another part of the Web's nature is its tendency toward change—sometimes a link works today, but fails tomorrow. Or links may remain valid, but the content moves and/or disappears. Consequently, I will try to keep up with the ever-changing Web, by verifying my links every so often, and adding/removing/editing them as I deem necessary. If anyone stumbles upon a broken or otherwise incorrect link, however, I would greatly appreciate if he or she contact me and let me know, so that I may take appropriate action. A few final points I want to make:

• External links (mainly those not in my "External Links" section, do not necessarily indicate my endorsement of the sites or their content.
• Opinions and values featured on external sites may not necessarily reflect my own.
• My site's "Copyleft" policy does not extend to content on external sites; most if not all sites govern their own content with a copyright policy separate from other sites'. In short, I encourage visitors to respect policies in effect on other sites.
